EmmaItchy

Here are several more photos of Emma. You'll notice that
most of them are a little blurry. That's because Emma really
can't sit still for too long. She's got a lot on her little mind.
Late in 2003, mom had to take her to the vet because Emma
seemed to be really itchy and wasn't acting herself. Turns out
that chinchilla's have sensitive skin and Emma's seemed to be
somewhat dry. The vet, Dr. Kennon, suggested running a
humidifier in Emma's room. We've been doing that all winter
and Emma seems back to her normal self.
