I've been trying to put this off for as long as
possible, but I guess I need to tell you about Olive
Pit. She's my newest baby sister. My mom has had
her since maybe last August or September (2003)
but it's been tough for me to talk about having yet
another rodent as a sibling.
Olive and Emma share a room and during the
night, they have races to see who can run for the
longest time on the wheels in their cages.
UPDATE: Olive died on 11/11/2005.
This is Glow, another stray who mom fed
since last August/September (2003).
Mom caught her in January of 2004 and
quickly found out that Glow was a total
love bug. One of the women who works
with my mom at the vet took Glow in as
one of her own. Aunt Carol actually gave
Glow her name because in the winter
months, you couldn't see anything but
Glow's little white feet outside in the
dreary weather ... they glowed in the dark
almost!
